All the information you need to know
when choosing Summah & Co to do your hair. When booking with us you agreed to our policies. We thank you for understanding. Please reach out if you have any questions. We are happy to help.

 

CONTACT US

We only respond during business hours.
This ensures we can all switch off in our downtime. We will try our best to
respond efficiently, keeping in mind we do this between our clients. We ask that
you please avoid messaging us on our private socials about salon related
enquiries.

HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT 

When booking appointment we prefer text rather than a call, so we can give our clients in salon our full attention. To ensure the booking process is as easy as possible, please text us the following details,

For haircuts and all full colour / tints:

  • length and thickness
  • stylist you wish to see (if ypu have a preference)
  • service you would like to book for
  • dates and times available

For blonding and colour correction services:

  • photo of current hair
  • photos of inspiration
  • stylist you wish to see (if you have a preference)
  • hair history
  • product brands used at home
  • dates and times available

 

BOOKING FEE POLICY

To ensure the best service for all
our clients a non-refundable $75 booking fee is required for all our colour
appointments. This fee can be transferred within 48 hours notice but is not refundable. You will receive a text 3 to 4 weeks before your appointment to
arrange payment, unless you have a rolling deposit. If unpaid your appointment may be cancelled. The booking fee will be deducted from your total or rolled over to your next
visit. Cancellations within 48 hours result in the loss of your booking fee. If you need to cancel last minute, please
call us ASAP. Please understand this is for all clients existing and new.

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY 

To respect our time and other clients, we require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. No shows or
same-day cancellations without a deposit will have a $30 fee added to their next appointment for haircuts and for colour services a 50% booking fee may be required before re-booking. Repeated no-show may result in refusal of future appointments. We appreciate your understanding. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

 LATE POLICY

To ensure we stay on schedule and provide the best service to all our clients, If you arrive late we may need to shorten your service to avoid delaying the next appointment. The full price of the originally booked service will still be applied. Please plan ahead and arrive
on time.

RE-DO POLICY 

Your happiness is our priority and we
always strive to deliver results you love. If you’re not 100% satisfied, please
reach out within seven days so we can chat about your concerns. We do our best to understand your vision during the consultation. Honest communication is key to avoid miscommunication. If something isn’t right we’re more than happy to fix it, but we don’t offer refunds. Redo's don’t apply to a change of mind so be sure before we get started. Proper after-care is essential to keeping your hair looking it's best and can alter results at home. We stand by our work and always want you to leave feeling amazing.

PRODUCT AND WATER QUALITY

The products and water you
use at home can impact your hair colour results. If you use nonprofessional
products, that may interfere with colouring. In some cases we may require an in salon cleanse before your service, or in some cases refuse the service altogether. Poor quality
water (eg. tank water, overseas water, salt water, chlorinated water) can also
affect colouring. In these cases, a cleansing treatment may be required before we proceed. This policy is in place to prevent unwanted chemical reactions on your hair. Clear communication is essential to ensure the best results for your hair.

ADVANCE PAYMENT

If prepaying your service helps you
manage your finances we offer the option to make a pre-payment over the phone, which will be added to your account.

Additionally pre-payment plans can be
customised upon request. Please reach out to us to discuss the best option for
you.

GIFT VOUCHER POLICY

Gift vouchers are available for all services and products, to treat a loved one for a special occasion. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, non-refunable and non-transferable. If you wish to discuss the options of your gift voucher please reach out.
